Gulliver’s Valley theme park in Rotherham is set to welcome some extra special guests for young visitors to enjoy over the summer.
Lampo and Milady, from the highly successful Pop TV programme 44 Cats, will be making socially distanced appearances at the park each day over the coming weeks.
The series follow the daily adventures of Lampo, Milady, Pilou, and Meatball – four super cute cats who are part of a music band named the Buffycats.
Live appearances by Lampo and Milady will start from 29 May 2021, in time for the Spring Bank holiday, and continue right through the summer until 1 September 2021.
Dean Kimberley, director of guest services at Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, said: “We are always looking for new ways to keep our young visitors entertained when visiting our parks so it’s fantastic that Lampo and Milady from 44 Cats will be appearing at Gulliver’s Valley for the first time.
“They will be available for pictures and smiles – all at a safe distance – and we just love seeing the joy they bring to the faces of children and their families as they are wander round the resort. There is lots happening at Gulliver’s Valley over the summer so we’re really excited about the months ahead.”
Aimed at children between the ages of two and 13-years-old, Gulliver’s Valley houses more than 30 rides and attractions, including an Apache Falls ride, full-size diggers, the Ghostly Galleon pirate ship and a Lost Jurassic World area. Accommodation options are also available, including Unicorn and Princess Suites alongside Western Cabins and Lost World Lodges.
